NOTES: KC-Min wear 1951 throwbacks for Game 2
of their doubleheader. Royals wear modern-day helmet, however… Det-TB also wear
throwbacks to 1979. In the Rays case, it is “fauxback.” Tampa Bay’s helmets
matched their hats. Detroit wore its modern day helmets (orange D, no outline).
Is this the same type of helmet worn in 1979? Their hats contained the orange
D with a white outline. Also, Tampa Bay wore the light blue pants.
